Failure iOS makes iPhone restart with text messaging – Digital Journal

A flaw in iOS system used in Apple’s iPhone, can make the machine automatically reset after receipt of a text message. The problem was found by members of the North American forum Reddit. The information is the British newspaper The Guardian.

The bug occurs when you receive a message with specific characters in Arabic. To try to summarize the content to display on the home screen of the phone, a conflict occurs in the system that makes the device reset or just turn off in some cases.

A text string that causes the problem is very specific and little likely to be entered by accident. However, for those who think you can get this type of message (even if it is a joke of a friend) can turn off the message notifications on the iPhone.

For those who received the message and can no longer open the . messaging application, one solution is to ask someone to send a message to Latin characters and delete content

Apple has not yet ruled on the bug
