The suspected to have shot dead a man on Monday night, in a commercial establishment in Benfica, was identified by 12 people, told Lusa source of PSP.
the gunman stood on the run and that so far was not arrested despite being identified and witnesses have noted the car registration that fled.
According to a witness, the 40 year old man entered the establishment at Benfica where ordered coffee and were served and returned to leave the site. Moments later, after going to his car, according to several witnesses, he went back into the restaurant / pastry, implying that have something in his coat pocket he was wearing and asked new coffee.
After , said the PSP, the maid turned to get the coffee and heard the sound of a gunshot, then fleeing to the kitchen in search of a refuge, from where he heard more shots that fatally hit the victim. The victim, 47, was an employee of the establishment.
The Judiciary has taken account of the event, after the PSP have been called to the scene where the murder took place at around 20.45.
The site was an ambulance of the INEM and other Medical Car Emergency and Resuscitation (VMER) of the Hospital de Santa Maria, who tried to revive the wounded, but the death came to be declared by 21h42.
