New iPhones have requested record 4 million on 1st day – MSN

SAO PAULO – Apple has stated that many customers will have to wait until next month to buy a new iPhone after a record 4 million pre-orders were recorded in the North American company website. The number represents a doubling of orders that the iPhone 5 had two years ago in its first day of sales.

The company said demand outstripped supply of new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, they bring screens and duration of larger drums. Deliveries of pre-orders will begin on Friday, 19 October and should continue within.

The number of opening day sales point to the first weekend in the region of 10 million units, according with analysts.

In the first weekend of the iPhone 5, analysts at Wells Fargo reminded Analysts, 40% of applications were made on the first day. This corresponded to a total of 2 million units, a total of 5 million that weekend in September 2012.

Last year, Apple sold nine million iPhones in the first 5S and 5C three days of release. The company did not disclose numbers of pre-orders for these phones.

Raymond James analysts said they expected sales of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will reach nine million in its first weekend. “Apple will be selling every iPhone they can make, at least until October. Because of this, sales of the first weekend are typically indicative of more supply than demand,” said analysts.

now routinely have to deal with limitations in offering iPhones, especially in the years that involve a redesign of the smartphone.

The Apple website gives standby time of three to four weeks for the iPhone 6 Plus, with display larger, 5.5 inch, and seven to ten days for the iPhone 6, the smallest model, with 4.7-inch screen.

Experts of Janney Capital Markets said a large number of pre -encomendas was due to “pent-up demand” for a larger iPhone.

The brokerage increased its sales expectations for the last iPhone to 37.4 million units for the current quarter and 60 million for the last quarter of the year.

“We believe that there continue to be significant demand for the first two quarters of 2015 because of supply issues, and welcome orders from China,” said analysts at Barclays bank note.

The company said the new models of the iPhone will be available to consumers in stores in the United States, Canada, Australia and some other markets on Saturday morning.

North American operators and some retailers Apple allowed the USA will also begin selling the phones on Friday.

The new phones will come equipped with the new Apple Pay service payments, which will be released in the USA next month and lets users pay for Ojas items with their devices.
