The Airbus registered a patent for a hypersonic airplane passengers to fly faster than the famous Concorde.

According to documents from the US Patent Office, where the project was registered, the jet can reach speeds up to Mach 4.5, or four and a half times the speed of sound, which is 340 meters per second. The Concorde reached a Mach 2 speed.
