Piracy: Google receives per minute 1500 content removal requests – EN Journal

 FBI piracy The hacking is growing, says Google. Search engine data indicate that every minute that passes, there are 1500 requests for removal of links (URL) for sites with allegedly illegal content

The report was unveiled at The Next Web site: only in October, Google received 65 million complaints of violation of copyright and the corresponding request to remove pirate sites from the search engine results list search.

All in all, the average points to two million cases per day, 1500 per minute. In 2011, there were a few hundred a day links removal order

These 65 million applications were filed for only 5609 organizations

The same report pointed out that although a large part of the requests even reveal the existence of illegal content, there is an increasing number of duplicate applications or with incorrect links.

There are also more and more requests to ask for the lock sites that have content of their own authorship or with a system for content copyrighted.

The question led Google to adjust the search engine algorithms, last year with the intention of lowering the significance of the sites with more references to pirated content.
