The data released by the company show that the number of requests received by the company in a year doubled. If the comparison back in time the differences are even more relevant.

In 2011, Google received a few hundred orders per day. Now, at the same time has to manage two million requests. Seen under the microscope, are 1,500 requests per minute, about 25 per second.

Last month the company reports receiving requests for 5,609 entities to remove a total of 65 million links in 68,484 separate domain names.

Google has undertaken measures to reduce, or at least give less prominence, the pirated content in their search results, but that has not stopped the consecutive increase in the number of requests.

Last year the company changed the algorithm to pass the give less importance to the results very referenced sites as illegal content owners, but the measure did not solve the problem and is not always effective. There are several illegal streaming sites that continue well in search engine results.
