Apple closes Beats Music in late November – SAPO Tek

Apple bought Beats intending to launch its own music service streaming and materialize the intention. In late June debuted the new offering and marked position in a market that has proved more promising than the downloads, which pioneered with iTunes.

The purchase of Beats Music allowed the owner of the iPhone shorten the way and prepare quickly to try to occupy a comfortable place in the market for music streaming.

With the release of Apple Music Beats remained, but it was clear that hardly two offerings coexist for a long time. The company now confirms the end of the offer, 18 months after the acquisition of 3 billion dollars.

Customers are being encouraged to migrate to Apple Music. If they decide to do so do not need to create a new account, they can log in with the credentials used in Beats and choose the desired subscription plan: individual or family (€ 6.99 or € 9.99).
