The decline in the value reaches Europe, including Portugal, after the company had done the same in Canada, Japan and the United States.
The PS4 will thus have the same market value as the Xbox One competitor from Microsoft to an extent that occurs two months of Christmas and similar to what Sony has done in other years with other products.
The Sony also decided to widen the price reduction to Australia, New Zealand and UAE.
The PlayStation 4 is sold in several more expensive packages that include accessories and games. Figures given by Sony in September indicate that the Japanese brand sold 25 million units worldwide since its launch in late 2013.
