U.S. authorities barring beer delivery taken by drones - appeared

The “Beer Lakemaid” company brewer in the U.S., saw its new niche beverage deliveries made by drones barred by U.S. authorities, who want to submit the equipment to national regulations.

Equipment that works from GPS coordinates, can take up to 12 beers per trip, and is similar to the project announced by giant Amazon, also in the USA. The company even made a video showing how it would be the delivery system.

The company had the idea of ??transport through small unmanned aircraft to resolve the issue of fishermen who could not have access to beer , now living near frozen in the states of Minnesota Wisconsin lakes.

According to the newspaper “Metro”, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA, in English), prevented the project being implemented now, since they are still required approvals of regulatory, technical and safety standards so that drones can be used commercially.

“We were somewhat surprised by the interest of the FAA about it, because we would operate below the 120 m high, “said the president of Lakemaid, Jack Supple.

Some customers who were enthusiastic about the idea have started to sign a petition calling for the release of drones delivery, which may be sent to the White House after . 100,000 signatures
