LG finally confirmed one of its anticipated releases for MWC 2014: LG G2 mini, compact version of the top line. The Korean smartphone manufacturer officiated on Wednesday (19). The changes between new and older brother, however, is not restricted to small measures. Check out the changes.

Unlike Sony Xperia and his Z1 Compact, LG has applied the same strategy of Samsung to decrease the dimensions of your top of the line committing some of your settings. Starting with the processor, now the powerful Snapdragon 800, present in G2, for 400 Snapdragon (even Moto G) or Nvidia Tegra 4i Mini G2. The RAM is 1 GB.

The screen was also another component that had cut costs. With 4.7-inch display has 540 x 960 pixels only (qHD), resulting in 234 pixels per inch – well below the resolution of Full HD older brother, whose screen measures 5.2 inches and 424 ppi density. For mains, the smartphone accompanies a battery of 2,440 mAh.
LG G2 Mini is modest also in other features such as lack of support for 4G and only 8 GB of internal storage (with entrance Memory card). At the rear, however, a 8 megapixel camera promises to capture photos account of acceptable quality.
Although lower than the G2, its sensor is even better than the Moto G, direct competitor to the brand new venture. So, indeed, the new smart LG will also release one or two chips, so please emerging markets such as Brazil.
One of the qualities of the Mini G2 is its use of space, because about 70% of the front is taken by the screen. This makes it compact even with a display of 4.7 inches. Their measurements are 130 mm long and 66 mm wide and 9.8 mm thick.
LG promised to include in the apparatus all software features seen in high-end brand, since it already comes with the latest version of Android, the 4.4 “KitKat”. An example is the Guest Mode, which allows the unit to lend to others without allowing access to your private content.
LG G2 will be shown in its official launch, which will take place next week during the MWC 2014 in Barcelona. Its price has not been disclosed.
