A 'lie detector' for social networks - TVI24

Social networks are going to have a ‘lie detector’ to verify the rumors that circulate on social networks.

According to the BBC, the project involves several European universities and companies and began be thought after conflicts in London in 2011.

The system will analyze in real time the publication is true and will identify the account or social network profile that was created just for spreading false information.

The data analyzed will include posts on Twitter and Facebook and the comments in the forums.

The goal of the system is to help organizations to respond more effectively to new developments.
