Fire in housing in Port makes two injured - The Associated Press

A fire in a house in Porto, in the early hours of Sunday, caused minor injuries to two people who were inside the apartment. Mother and son, 50 and 25, were taken to hospital with burns Pedro Hispano feet after having a mattress caught fire.

Source of Fire Brigade Porto told Lusa that the alert was given at around 3pm. Firefighters believe that the origin of the fire was a short circuit switch.

According to the same source, when the Fire Brigade arrived at the apartment, situated on the outer ring road, the son of the owner “had already caught the mattress and thrown out the window.”

Firefighters rushed to the spot with three vehicles and 12 operating, the situation has been resolved by 3:55 a.m..
