I saw you in the train: a page for those who fell in love with ... - The Associated Press

Did you see anyone on the train you fell in love? You want to find that person? Yes, I created a Facebook page as to that. Called saw you at the train, was born just over a week and now brings together nearly 20,000 “likes.”

The idea – inspired by the site I Saw You – left three young Braga, who administer the page. They are called Daniel, 24, James, 17, and Pedro, 20 (for privacy reasons, chose not to publish the P3 their surnames). Shortly after, Ana, 20, also joined the project. Had been through similar situations in the train (something like: person X Y person sees and falls in love) and decided to make a national version of “I Saw You”.

examples researched the Internet and found that there was already something of the same kind: the “I saw you in Fertagus”. Contacted the administrators of the page, it said “not interested in expanding” to a national dimension. But they gave the green light to proceed with the Group Braga “I saw you in the train,” said Daniel to P3.

After the initial success of the page – they were not expecting anything – the three boys began to have a little fear of being “misinterpreted”. How were all male, the project could be seen as a page to attract girls. Therefore, and due to the create page “Saw you in Bus”, say they have decided to invite Ana to participate.

In a telephone conversation, Daniel said the P3 that the main objectives of the “I saw you on the train” are not only able to “anonymously compliment” a passenger, but also “show that people, even on the train, which supposedly are not doing anything special, can make a difference. ”

On page

find stories that happen every day on trains from North to South. The “I saw you on the train” has received nearly a hundred stories. All are anonymous. “If you identify with the person depicted in the story” will come into contact by private message with the administrators of the page.
