awareness mark European Safer Internet Day
Over 600 activities across the country run until February 28.
The European Safer Internet Day is pointed out, this Tuesday, with stocks across the country that aim to sensitize the population, especially young children, to a “safe and conscious navigation” the Internet.
Safer Internet Centre, coordinated by the Foundation for Science and Technology project begins today over 600 actions to raise awareness across the country, which run until February 28 and involve about 47 thousand people.
The activities will take place in more than 250 schools in the country and also in public libraries, municipal councils, parish councils, charities, Internet Spaces, Live Science Centers, Digital Inclusion Centers, among others.
“Being safe online is a matter of everyone and we look forward to working with all types of institutions that have contact with the public so that we can disseminate this message and cause people to have resources and are trained to be able to surf securely in the internet, “he told the Lusa agency coordinator Safer Internet Centre.
The National Republican Guard (GNR) and also promote Microsoft Portugal, this week, more than 700 awareness raising and training aimed at students, teachers, parents and carers.
