18th Campaign Recycling Radiographs of AMI begins ... - LOCAL.PT

LISBON – AMI launches tomorrow, Tuesday 10 September, another Campaign Recycling radiographs. Until the 8th of October, it will be possible to deliver at pharmacies in the country, radiographs with more than five years or no diagnostic value.

Radiographs will later be recycled, thus avoiding their shipment to the trash. The sale of silver extracted to allow AMI to generate funding to cope with the steady increase in requests for social support.

17 years ago that this design allows to raise matching funds to finance a social center of the AMI to support the most disadvantaged. Last year, it was possible to double this value through the delivery of radiographs by hospitals and health centers across the country.

This year, the AMI returns to bet on this project as one of its sources of fundraising strategies, showing that regardless of the financial difficulties of each, everyone can contribute without cost.
