The mobile application Snapchat back to being under fire due to allegations of racism. A new filter launched by quick messaging service lasted just over 24 hours, after having generated a wave of criticism from users.

This did not please the users, who criticized those responsible for application by perpetuating racist stereotypes about Asians.
the Sanpchat was quick to refute the criticism. The messaging service, very popular among young people, assured the site Mashable that the goal of the new filter was to be “funny and not offensive,” to resemble with Japanese anime characters.
it is not the first time that Snapchat is accused of racism by users. Last April, the application created a filter inspired Bob Marley, who overlapped dreadlocks in the hair of the person photographed and made darker skin.
