Samsung protection mode has been unlocked again – Portal Technology

Samsung

Some time ago a type nicknamed RootJunky could unlock the existing protection mode in Samsung that Google has implemented at the launch of the Android Lollipop.

this protection mode is nothing more than when we try to format the phone to factory settings, it will ask the middle of the process to introduce the account name and password associated with the same device. That is, even only the true owner can perform the full reset equipamento.Isto serves as a measure of protection against theft and loss of smartphones, and prevent them from being used by others without our permission.

well, it was this same way that RootJunky could unlock the time. And now came again perform the same feat but for the new devices, Galaxy S6 and S7 series, including even the brand new Galaxy Note 7 that is not even on the market, thus proving that this system is not to “bullet-proof”.

Apparently, the trick goes through a connection to a wi-fi network, make teethering equipment to a computer, install a software that simulates a phone call, create a contact and scan a business card. After installing from Samsung Apps, a file manager and an application created by RootJunky own to serve as a shortcut to the Google login. Once there, it was simply easier to create a new account, made reboot, and voila!

We are a completely brand new equipment in sheet without any trace of another user. We will therefore wait for a corrective response to this situation by Samsung or Google
