The Deputy Minister and Regional Development defended today, in presenting the digital platform Map Citizen, with information on public services, that public administration “has to organize” for citizens.
“It is the government that has to be organized according to the citizen and not the citizen who has to organize on the basis of how the government is structured and there,” said Minister Miguel Poiares Maduro.
The platform Map Citizen , available on the Internet, has an application for smartphone and tablets , with information on public services, and from the from early July will provide a service password in stores and spaces Citizen and control the waiting time.
The application already lets you know in the mobile phone location service closest to request the Citizen Card with the contacts and opening hours, besides knowing how many people are waiting, that password is being called and how long waited the last person to be served.
According to Pedro Silva Dias, president for Administrative Modernisation Agency (WADA), from the “first week of July” will be possible for users to obtain a password for the various utilities installed in stores and Citizen spaces and monitor the evolution of care.
