In Aveiro, there is a driving school for children who, in addition to promoting good practice driving the children, send some messages to parents.
As part of a service educational Mayor of Ilhava, the school road safety education, aimed at children in the 1st cycle, above all, want to root respect for road rules at an earlier age.
This project was a pioneer in Braga, was there that did the idea of Fernando Caçoilo, current president of the Chamber of Aveiro.
“Since then I think it has been a good school for the children of the city experiencing drive and receive a ‘driving license ‘but also for the neighboring municipalities that take visits, “said Fernando Caçoilo.
Ana Seabra, responsible for HRMS (Municipal School Bus Education), highlighted the fact that children do not lie and some of them mentioned the mistakes parents committed on the road as not to put the car seat for children, pass red lights, among others.
In practice, this school of road safety education for children, in addition to teaching good ways on the road at an earlier age, also intends, ‘reensinar’ parents and alert them to less accepted practices in the road.
In truth, most people do not go to driving school to learn to drive and to have good practice on the road, but rather, to take the letter and dispatch another document.
