Twitter for Android already has night mode – AndroidGeek

After a few weeks of testing, the users of the social network Twitter on Android devices will be able to enjoy access to the social network in dark environments without suffering from eyestrain due to the brightness of the screen, is officially arrived the night mode.

the new darker shade covers much of the application, both the timeline and the lateral and configuration screens. Already the buttons and icons come shades of light blue, a contrast that promises to be a friend of our sight. Overall, the application is much to Tweetdeck style, which was acquired by Twitter itself.

The news really makes reading more enjoyable, especially in the dark, but no longer think that will have a great economy battery on devices with AMOLED screen. Since the application of the background is not black (which would result in pixels off this type of panel), but only a very dark blue.

To access the new feature, simply slide to the side menu application and activate the night mode. To disable only return the same menu and uncheck the option, as shown in the video above, which was released by Twitter itself.
