Update for Windows 10 Mobile should arrive in February, says Microsoft – Digital Journal

Microsoft delayed once more the distribution of Windows Mobile 10, according to the venturebeat. In emails sent to its partners, the company announced that it plans to start providing updates for its new operating system for smartphones with Windows Phone 8 until mid-February.

The reason for the delays is that upgrading to the new version of the operating system is not yet ready, and the company would delay the launch to launch a defective version of its software. The monthly service monthly update for Lumia 950 and 950 XL will also be postponed for the same reason.

Initially, the aim of Microsoft was providing this update in December 2015. The advantage of this delay, on the other hand is that users receive the latest version of the new operating system. – including two monthly updates previously released for Lumia 950 and 950 XL

Meanwhile, the percentage of smartphones that already have the latest version Microsoft the system is relatively small. Besides the difficulty in the distribution of updates, Microsoft also needs to meet the challenge of providing applications for Windows Mobile 10
