Microsoft keyboard for iPhone has a curious way to type with one hand – Digital Journal

Microsoft is betting big on Windows Phone to overtake competing platforms, including Cortana and Office applications package. The next feature in the list is the Word Flow keyboard, which is being ported to the iPhone.

According to The Verge, the new keyboard for iOS has the same Windows Phone design allows sliding the keys to make words (like Swype), and offers suggestions for words and emojis.

There is one major difference, however: Microsoft will include a curious way to type with one hand in the keys form a semicircle. (In Windows 10 Mobile, the keyboard can only move to the side of the screen.)

This month, a Windows Insider participant posted on Twitter an email you received from Microsoft, inviting him to test the new keyboard Word Flow for iOS. The email says that Microsoft “is working to bring the keyboard to more platforms’, then it is possible to arrive to Android as well.

For now, the Word Flow for iOS is in closed beta between a small group of users, but should be released soon for all
