Turnover of Science4you grew over 70% in 2015 – Jornal de Negócios – Portugal

The Science4you Portuguese ended the year 2015 with a turnover of 11.3 million euros, an increase of over 70% compared to the results achieved in 2014, the company said in a statement.

In these results, “ Portugal shows up with a growth that is due to strong commitment of the company in line with technological toys, Tech4you, and the launch of new ranges of toys to more age groups, which now includes infants and children under five years of age, “the statement said.

As regards the international invoicing, highlighting the Spanish branch, with a turnover of approximately 2 million, an increase of 73% over the previous year.

For the Portuguese company dedicated to production, development and marketing of toys educational, in partnership with the Faculty of Science, University of Lisbon, the year 2015 was marked by the commitment to international growth and entry into new countries, such as Egypt, Lebanon, Germany, Ireland, among others, representing an increase of 284% compared to 2014. The presence in the UK stands out for its entry into the country’s major retail chains, including John Lewis, Tesco , Harrods and Amazon.

“We knew that the purpose of billing for 2015 was very ambitious and this growth of over 70%, should If the efforts of a great team that is really to be congratulated. We continue to grow on all fronts, to focus on innovation and this was reflected in product prizes won at international level, “said Miguel Pina Martins, founder and CEO of Science4you. “The representation outside Portugal has grown and the next step is to consolidate our presence in countries where we are already and reach new markets.”

For 2016, the Science4you aims to reach 16 million euros turnover for, across the group, with a international representation of around 60%.
