The choice is a basic right, and vote on election day is an important decision. The UBER want to help them to focus on choice, not the transportation to the polling station

In this day of presidential elections. – January 24, 2016 – between 8.00 and 19.00, all users voting in the cities of Lisbon and Porto are offered a free trip to exercise their right to vote.

2. Then within the election period, be- will you have the option PRESIDENTIAL to travel (may take several minutes);

Important notes to take advantage of this initiative

1. Each user is entitled to a trip free up to 10 euros in election time (January 24, between 8am and 19h) with game or destination in one of the polling stations in the municipalities of Lisbon and Porto.
2. The free travel will only be awarded if using the PRESIDENTIAL to travel (and not uberX or UberBLACK).
3. Travel other than point-to-point (ie, other than direct routes to or from the place of voting, but that include stops and intentional deviations ) may apply.

If the journey performed does not meet the above criteria, this will be charged to the value in force for the uberX product. If the value of the trip exceeds 10 euros in the equivalent rate uberX will only be charged the excess amount.

The UBER hopes to contribute constructively in this important moment of the Portuguese civilian life. They say that the service demand is high so the response capacity will be limited
