About 78 thousand people submitted applications in the Dutch NGO Mars One, which offers the possibility of a trip to Mars in 2023.
The first phase consists of the application process, until August 31 . According to Mars One, competed for now, candidates (no Portuguese) from more than 120 countries.
Between 50 to 100 applicants will be chosen by a jury into a new phase of which will go between 28-40 people . These will receive over seven years training.
