Mozilla offers mobile phones in exchange for HTML5 applications - TeK.sapo

Mozilla is committed to having the highest number of possible applications when Firefox OS coming to market and to achieve the goal is to offer to all mobile developers who have an application developed in HTML5 for the system mobile operating.

The initiative Apps for Phones will allow developers test the apps on a mobile phone equipped with Firefox OS so they can improve their work. Applicants must submit applications here and wait after a contact from Mozilla that will want to know what the application is and what plans they each have the same for the mobile operating system.

Mozilla is looking for all kind of applications from software social news aggregators, utilities and productivity tools, never forgetting the games.

This is an opportunity for many developers who may already have developed HTML5 applications but only need to be adapted to an environment mobile , and at the same time ensures a place of pioneering all who have applications ready at launch of mobile phones in the summer.

One of factors highlight of this campaign is that it is not necessary to have an application developed to be entitled to a mobile phone. The simple development plan already entitled to one device, but in these cases the selection criteria of Mozilla will be more demanding.
