The first Apple computer, created by the late company founder Steve Jobs and assembled by hand by co-founder Steve Wozniak, was auctioned off this Saturday in the city of Cologne, Germany, for 516 000 euros.

The Apple 1 was the first computer built by California, 37 years ago, at the time it was located in a garage.

In this model 200 computers were manufactured and currently there are only 50, of which only six work. The copy auctioned works.

Apple thought getting 300,000 euros by an anonymous relic but offered 516,000 euros and exceeded expectations.

Also up for auction was a replica of the first mechanical calculator , created by Pascal in the seventeenth century.
