Apple accused of misleading advertising – TVI24

Apple was the subject of a complaint from users, in court, accusing the US computer group of misleading advertising.

At issue is the storage capacity of your iPhone phones, iPad tablets and multimedia supports iPod.

This is because the brand of apple praises the 16 GB storage capacity on some of their cheaper models. However, the abuse of residents users in the State of Florida, USA, claims that about a fifth of the capacity is used by the latest version of its operating system (iOS 8).

Hence the actually available space is reduced, the plaintiffs argue, the document submitted this week in a state court in California, has been consulted Friday by AFP.

“Apple offers a smaller storage capacity than promotes, to later sell this space in a moment of despair, when, for example, you try to record a video or take pictures of a show, a game of basketball or a marriage ‘

The complaint is therefore to note that when the limit is reached, Apple encourages users to pay monthly costs to gain extra space on your iCloud service. And states that each gigabyte less is between 400 and 500 high resolution photos.

Apple refuses, so far, to comment.
