Public companies spend 368 million in salary supplements - TVI24

After

numbers on salary supplements in the public service, it was learned on Sunday that public companies spend EUR 368 million per year in salary supplements also.

It is the result of a survey to expenses , representing 13.4% of total expenditure on staff and is more than half the 700 million that the state spends on supplements throughout the public service.

This means that public companies spend more on salary supplements or less the amount that the Government needs to achieve to offset lead to convergence of the Constitutional Court of pensions.

Supplements associated with working hours are absorbing the largest share, but the allowance function and movements are other categories that become important.

In the analysis by sector spending on supplements, air transport appear first, followed by health, transport, financial services and lastly insurance.

In the business sector of the state, in addition to basic pay, heading supplements is assuming greater weight and limited companies tend to follow more generous remuneration policies than public corporations.
