Wi-Fi comes to Lisbon's metro - Fiber

Wi-fi comes to Lisbon's metro ON-FI, this is the name of the project that already offers this month internet completely free for passengers Metropolitano de Lisboa, through wi-fi technology. The project was born from a partnership between Metro, the MOP and ON-FI. For now will be available in four seasons, but should encompass more until March 50.

This project represents an investment of five million euros, funded entirely by advertising in holding wi-fi network.

ON-FI project is intended to encompass more than 50 stations and all compositions of Metropolitano de Lisboa until the end of the first quarter of 2014. For now, the service wi-fi is only available in the Marquis of Pombal, Alameda, Campo Grande and Military College stations.
