Samsung prepares ultra-cheap tablet By Camilo Rocha São Paulo, 11 (AE) – Samsung is preparing to launch a wave of super-cheap tablets into a new series called “Lite”. The new devices would be versions of existing models such as Galaxy Note 3 Lite, Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Lite 3 Lite Grand. The information is from Sam Mobile site specializing in mobile devices from Samsung. Citing “internal” sources, the site says it does not have information on the specifications of the devices, but that prices must be in the range of 100 euros (equivalent to U.S. $ 135 or U.S. $ 320). With these devices, the South Korean company would forward the flood of low cost tablets that invaded several markets in 2013, including Brazil. If confirmed the price would be the cheapest tablet by Samsung already sold. Sam Mobile says the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite come in Wi-Fi and 3G versions, with the Wi-Fi model in the color white cream should come out in the second week of 2014. The following week, the 3G version arrive.
