Nokia Lumia range increases sales but continues to have injury - TeK.sapo

Nokia introduced a loss of 24% in revenues from the second quarter of this year and the same period last year. The cash generated by the company fell to 5690 million euros, which is also 3% lower than that recorded in the first three months of 2013.

The drop in revenues conditioned the hypothesis the company can make a profit, with the end a loss of 115 million euros. Yet the value turns out to be a positive indicator since the second quarter of 2012 the losses amounted to 800 million and between January and March this year were 150 million euros.

Operating profit turns out to be the only truly positive indicators, having the technological recorded 303 million euros this index analysis. The profit from operations of the company represents an improvement of 200% over the figure recorded a year ago.

Another area that showed improvement was that of smartphones. The sale of Nokia Lumia grew from 6.1 million in the first quarter to 7.4 million uni ts between April and June. In terms of revenue category of smart devices, these turned out to be the same as the first quarter – 1.16 billion euros.

The category of smart devices was one that generated more revenue in Finnish technology , behind the 1.4 billion generated by 53.7 million mobile phones sold and by 2780 million revenues coming from Nokia Siemens Networks.

Even the CEO of Nokia, Stephen Elop acknowledged in a press release the importance of Nokia Siemens company’s profit and operating profit growth.

And these are values ??of the Nokia Lumia animators? Can be produced domestically, but can not be considered positive globally. Just look at the numbers competition: there are 1.5 million active daily Android, Samsung has sold ten million Galaxy S4 in less than a month and Apple managed to sell several million iPhone 5 only on weekends debut.
