iPhone 6 gets 4.8-inch screen, ensures analyst. - Journal of Media

iphone6 Apple has not even released the iPhone 5S – expected to be announced in September – but analysts have begun to speculate about the iPhone 6. In a note sent to investors on Friday, Glen Yeung of City Research, expects to launch a smartphone with 4.8-inch screen in the first quarter of next year. The current model has four-inch screen.

The analyst adds that the launch of the iPad Mini with Retina display should only occur in the fourth quarter and that production of the iPhone 5S was delayed between two and four weeks. “And it does not prevent the release of iPhone 5s in September, so we suspect that the volumes of September could be challenged.”

About iPad Mini, Yeung expects the launch of the new model with Retina display force the price reduction from the current version to somewhere between $ 230 and $ 250. The City analyst also speculates on the iPad 5, which should be thinner and lighter. The third quarter should be the last production of the iPad 2 and 4.

Worldwide Developers Conference Apple, which takes place next week in San Francisco, California, was also cited by Yeung. The analyst expects “discussions on hardware will be only about the next generation of Macbook.” It is also expected to launch a streaming music service, now dubbed iRadio. (The Globe Technology)
