Decoberto the smallest exoplanet with mass

A group of researchers, the European Southern Observatory, the lightest planet detected outside our solar system, called ‘HD 95086 b “.

The European Southern Observatory (OES) reported this Monday, June 3, the discovery of the lightest exoplanet (outside our solar system), observed directly.

The group of astronomers detected the ‘HD 95086 b’ through the VLT, OES, and concluded that the planet has a mass about five times larger than Jupiter. However, it is the lowest-mass planet ever seen outside of the integrated system for the Earth.

Apparently, the celestial body orbiting around a young star called ‘HD 95086′.
