BMW has confirmed plans to launch the concept Tourer Active Outdoor, on display to be held in Friedrichshafen, Germany, next July 12.

The Tourer Active Outdoor is the evolution of Active Tourer Concept (pictured), plug-in hybrid minivan front drive presented at the Paris Motor Show in September 2012. The Tourer Concept has hybrid engine TwinPower Turbo 1.5-liter associated with electric motor and lithium ion battery. With combined power exceeding 190 hp, Active Tourer accelerates from 0-100 km / h in less than eight seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 km / h with a range of 30 km in electric mode.
