The Gear VR started to support the WebVR, a protocol that adds them web-enabled. This means that users of Samsung’s glasses will be able to surf the Internet from the same and enjoy the virtual reality experiences that find the way .

Signifying a major step towards the online virtual reality, the Samsung Internet is GearVR 1.0 also eliminates the exclusive traditional dependence of applications, adding a further possibility of using the device.

Who want to take advantage of the new capabilities of the Gear VR will have to make the settings manually, with Samsung to warn that this is an experimental stage, and that there may be some bugs, since the WebVR is not a finished standard.
