The most powerful of the Aston Martin Vantage production in series, the V12 Vantage S will now count as an option with a manual gearbox seven speeds. Will be available from September.

This new box alternative to sequential gearbox Sportshift III seven relations, presents the first relationship in a position of ‘dog-leg’, positioned behind the reverse, left.

So the first passage to the second follows a diagonal movement in the upper direction. This configuration aims to put into focus the relationship more used to driving, which remain common pattern of ‘H’ as a conventional six-speed gearbox.

The manual transmission also has the Amshift system to simulate the “tip-heel” regardless of the selected driving mode.

The engine is already known V12 5.9 liter 563 hp at 6750 rpm and 620 Nm at 5750 rpm. The V12 Vantage S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 330 km / h.

The V12 Vantage S also has more applications in carbon fiber, pointing in black on the grill, embellishing the headlights, hood ventilation and window frames. It comes even with sport suspension in Sport Edition.

simultaneously, Aston Martin decided to simplify the range V8 Vantage, abdicating the base versions. The V8 range is thus restricted to the V8 Vantage S Coupe and Roadster.
