Unmanned NASA rocket explodes after launch – Diário do Grande ABC

A unmanned rocket bound for the International Space Station exploded seconds after being launched from a platform in Virginia, US, on Tuesday.

The Antares rocket exploded on the launch complex at Wallops Island, Virginia, six seconds after liftoff. No one was injured in the episode. The company said the damage seemed to be limited to facilities.

NASA spokesman Rob Navias said there was nothing urgent need for space crew that flight. Source: Associated Press.
