Under the leadership of Phil Spencer, the Xbox One went from a disastrous event of revelation in May 2013 for a spectacular E3 2014. Seeing the excellent performance of Spencer when it comes to managing the Xbox division, many are of the opinion that the fate of Xbox One would have been different if Spencer had led the project from day one.
In recent IGN podcast, Phil Spencer was asked about the things that would have done differently if he was ultimately responsible since that the console was presented to the world.
“I think how we obtained permission of focusing on entertainment when we are an excellent platform gaming platform. And before you gain this permission, and go into the street to try to explain people that had a platform of entertainment, not made sure that we would talk to all the Xbox fans that exist in the world that this console would be where they would want to play games – I think that’s when people confuse “
