Future CEO of Microsoft may discontinue selling and Xbox Bing - TeK.sapo

The information is being advanced by Bloomberg, citing sources close to the process. Elop has been touted as a likely successor to the insistence of Steve Ballmer in charge, since this announced intention to retire in the month of August.

Just yesterday, a report by Reuters advanced returning to refer to name of the former CEO of Nokia as a possible candidate for the position, along with other names such as the current CEO of Ford, or the person responsible for the management of Skype.

The information disclosed now by Bloomberg will further and now reveals the supposed guidelines of the strategy to adopt if Elop will take the job. The sale of the business unit that includes the Xbox console and the Bing discontinuity would be to take measures within the framework of a strategy that would have as its main objective the repositioning of the company in its core areas .
