Samsung wants to attack various technological sectors with Tizen OS - TeK.sapo

One executive from Samsung, JK Shin revealed what plans the South Korean technology has for the Tizen OS. The software is being developed so that it can feed many types of devices, from smartphones to cars.

The co-CEO dismissed any chance of Samsung abandon the development of the platform and withdraw support for developers , saying that Tizen is as important as the commitment that the company has with Android and Windows Phone.

JK Shin no secret however that one of the goals that the company intends to achieve with Tizen is independent of the operating system from Google, software team line smartphones most successful technology. With Tizen the company would have complete control over the operating system that incorporates the devices.

The Tizen will eventually get to the cars and some areas of business such as research industry and the financial sector. “The cross is the convergence area where Samsung can do better given that has many divisions with end products,” he added in an interview with CNet’s executive technology.

The first phone with Tizen should reach the market even during the year 2013 and is expected to happen in the last quarter. The area of ??mobile devices is one where the software will have a greater impact and focus of development at an early stage.
