The PSP today announced the arrest on Saturday of a man who fired a gun at people who were at the door of an establishment of nightlife on Avenida 24 July in Lisbon.
In a statement, the Metropolitan Command Lisbon PSP reported that the arrest occurred at 13:15, following a communication that took account of an individual who was inside a nightlife establishment armed with a firearm.
The man, 48, have held a shot toward people “circulating at the same time that the threatened death there.” The arrest was made after the escape of the suspect, who still tried to get rid of the gun before the police intercept.
The elements of the PSP recovered the gun (a Glock 17, 9mm caliber) having the vehicle seized this man “a knife-bayonet belonging to an Avtomat Kalashnikov AK-47.” Were also seized 2.57 grams of cocaine he had in his wallet.
Later, officers of the 4th Division and the Criminal Investigation Division conducted a search elements to the suspect’s residence and found more weapons and not only, three semiautomatic pistols 22mm caliber competition; a rifle caliber 22mm; a semiautomatic pistol caliber 45mm; a semiautomatic pistol, a 6.35mm caliber; a gun of 44mm caliber; a semiautomatic 9mm pistol caliber; 450 22mm caliber ammunition; eleven o’clock 38mm caliber ammunition; seven 6.35mm caliber ammunition; six 9mm ammunition; ammunition of 7.62mm; a hand grenade and a launch star.
