Germans want to cut funds to countries that do not comply reforms – The Ball

Germany is keen to cut funds to countries that do not meet the recommendations of the European Commission in order to strengthen the monitoring of the reform process in the euro zone.

This intention is expressed in a document signed by German finance ministers, Wolfgang Schäuble and the Economy, Sigmar Gabriel, published Sunday by Der Spiegel magazine.

The goal of the two ministers is that the process of monitoring and sanctions to be binding, effective and transparent.
