Rates are for 2 euros from the moment of entry into the car, which add 30 cents per minute and EUR 1.1 per kilometer .. The minimum fare is 8 euro

Although

without disclosing the number of cars already in the service, responsible for expanding the Uber Western Europe in Lisbon ensures that it is possible to get a car within 5 minutes, but the goal is to reach a rate of 2 or 3 minute wait.

The application allows the user to locate and immediately gives the closest cars, indicating the selected driver, which will be located, and the photograph of the driver. Payment is made with the credit card associated with the service and the end customer receives an invoice with the value and indicating the route taken.

To make a selection Uber has a local team of three people who are responsible for managing the community and attracting new drivers, a similar model to that used in other countries.

“We give access to the platform. Drivers are not our employees,” he explains. What we offer is convenience, giving you the flexibility for drivers to adjust their models to the type of service, charging a 20% fee on each transaction.

Alexandre Droulers TeK forward to the expansion strategy Uber is “in progress” but no use if you will move on to other Portuguese cities, or bring Portugal to other services, such as UberX or UberTaxi.
