Samsung unveils new Galaxy Tab S – PCGuia

At a time when the results show that in Portugal tablets exceeded sales (in units) of personal computers, heis that Samsung has just strengthened its range of tablets with the arrival of new flagship, the Galaxy Tab S. Available in two different dimensions, with 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch screen, a maximum weight of only 467g (298g model to 8.4 “) and a body with a thickness of 6.6 mm, the new Galaxy Tab S enjoys a truly premium finish, although based on the lines of the Smartphone Galaxy S5.

Equipped with a Super AMOLED screen that supports as maximum resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels (for both models), this screen is able to reproduce the same images with a very high quality thanks to the high native contrast ratio of 100,000:1 (which ensures the darkest blacks and brightest whites), and the color spectrum supported about 90% of the coverage Adobe RGB color. To make the experience even better use, there is an innovative system that allows you to adjust your display settings (brightness, saturation, sharpness, color temperature and gamma) according to the ambient lighting.

As regards hardware, both models come equipped with Samsung’s Exynos solution Octocore 5, ie a 1.9GHz Quad-Core and Quad-Core processor 1.3 GHz additional, being the model with support for 4G LTE connections fitted with an additional controller Intel XMM7160. Both bring 3GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of storage (expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB), and 8.1 megapixel rear camera and front 2.1 mp.

But more than the hardware, that Samsung wanted to enhance the presentation was the focus of the brand the software and integrated solutions such as the use of a multi-user system (allows you to create up to 8 users), you can access their areas through the fingerprint reader placed in Home button, as with the Smartphone Galaxy S5.
