Lisbon chosen to host global center for IBM cloud – TeK.sapo

The new space will be part of the worldwide network of IBM centers that will by the end of this year with 40 locations.
 

The center of Lisbon is specially designed for workloads and critical business processes, “providing services to both large and small companies and institutions” refers to a statement sent to the press.
 

“As the center is integrated into a global network, we believe that, on the one hand, we have from other countries to choose this center in Lisbon companies to locate their cloud solutions and, secondly, we will work with Portuguese companies that are internationalizing, “believes John Gill, director of the Division of Global Technology & Services Strategic Outsourcing IBM Portugal.
