CEO of Instagram agree with censorship nipples
Co-founder and CEO of Instagram says that the application rules about nudity, which lead to the removal of images of women with nipples showing, are “fair”.
The terms of use of the application are clear: “You can not post violent photographs of naked full or partial (…) or sexually suggestive.” But removing photos, including public figures, unleashed a campaign against censorship of female breasts.
Last week, Scout Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, was photographed Topless in New York and shared the results on Twitter, with the caption: “Legal in New York, but not on Instagram.” The actress was not the only “victim” of the rules of application:. Kevin Systrom, Instagram co-founder, told the BBC that the rules are “fair” and aim to make Instagram “as safe as possible for teens and adults.”
