Remittances in Portuguese-speaking countries exceed 268 ... - The Associated Press

Remittances from emigrants working in Portuguese speaking countries in October exceeded the € 268 million and will close 2013 with a higher than the prior year total value:. EUR 289.3 million

In Guinea-Bissau, the Portuguese sent 436 thousand euros until October (246,000 in 2012) in Mozambique remittances were worth 5.607 million against 5.003 million in 2012, and Sao Tome and Principe, January to October were sent to Portugal 553 000 euros, exceeding EUR 338 000 2012.
