Face launches app for famous – The Time

  Facebook launched an application for famous public figures and quickly interact with their fans. Called “Mentions”, the app for the iOS, Apple, allows users to see when they are mentioned in the social network and enter the conversation and share updates and to start a session of questions and answers.
 

 

 Released last month in the United States, the application is now also available for Brazilian VIPs, but only pages scanned by Facebook can be used.

 

 In a statement at the time of release in the USA, Facebook announced that 800 million people are connected to athletes, musicians, actors and other opinion makers. During the World Cup, there were over 1 billion interactions between public figures and their fans.

 

 Through mentions, these artists can enter any conversation that have been cited both by “ordinary” people as other famous or media.
