The law governing the holding of graffiti comes into force on Sunday. The law, which prohibits in some public places such as monuments and public transport, provides for fines for offenders that can reach 25,000 euros. The offender is also responsible for its removal.
The bill was voted through in July in Parliament by MPs of most PSD / CDS-PP. The proposal seeks to assign to municipal decision on whether to permit the realization of graffiti.
